MAD SCIENCE WEEKEND

Friday, November 3 at 7:30pm -- CONNECTIONS Join the North Museum at Kaufman 200 classroom on the F&M campus as we explore how science is part of our everyday lives.  There is more to the world than what we can see -- and sometimes what we can't see is explosive!  Connections is a participatory program; anyone and everyone may be invited on stage to assist in selected experiments -- perhaps the scientist will be you!!  This special program will only take place on Friday.

Concepts taught during this program include: buoyancy, movement of gases, speed of sound waves, acidity and its uses, composition of dry air, acid rain, combustion of gases, strategies for test taking, and more!

Call 717-291-4371 for tickets.  Cost is $5 before October 27 or $7 after.

Saturday & Sunday, November 4 & 5 --  MAD SCIENCE WEEKEND Two days of hair-raising fun!  Hands-on experiments both days.  See what it is like to have your head in the clouds during the cryogenics demonstrations.  Be the first to see a new comet.  Explore robots or learn more about science careers!  Be prepared --these programs could end with a bang!                                                                                                                                                  Mad Science is sponsored in part by M.A.D. Technology Solutions, Lancaster Country Day School, The Toy Robot Museum, and the Cantwell Dental Group
