The North Museum of Natural History & Science generates excitement and curiosity about science, technology, and natural history.  Close to downtown Lancaster, the Museum features extensive collections and hands-on, minds-on exhibits that engage the imagination in a welcoming environment.  From outer space to local Native American peoples, from rocks and minerals to dinosaurs, from the Live Animal Room to the Discovery Room, you will explore the diverse world of natural history and science.  Twist a 20-foot spiral wave machine, see how a tidal wave spreads across the Earth, play with a tornado, examine hundreds of birds, or explore the galaxy in the planetarium.  There's something here for everyone!

Exhibits, special events, lecture programs, live animals, field trips and the largest planetarium in central Pennsylvania make the North Museum the center for science learning adventure in the Lancaster area. Visit the North Museum to discover, explore and experience -- the scientist in You!
