January 28 & 29 - Chocolate Moose Daze from Noon-4 p.m.
It's lucky number 13 for Chocolate Moose Daze, as we're celebrating thirteen years of sweet treats, moose mayhem, and most importantly - family fun! A combination of a museum-wide scavenger hunt, and yummy treats makes Chocolate Moose Daze the sweetest event of the year at the North Museum.
February 2, 9, 16, & 23 - Read, Touch and Discover preschool program at 10:30 a.m. We'll explore what we can learn about animals just from looking at their feet and legs. Whether for digging, hopping, swimming, or kicking, legs can play a vital role in how animals survive and thrive. Recommended for ages 3-6.
February 3, March 2, April 6 & May 4 - First Friday Five at Five
The museum comes alive after five! Explore the Museum from 5-7 p.m. for just $5, or free for North Museum members.
February 11 - Science Every 2nd program at 1-4 p.m.
February 15 - Homeschoolers Day from 10 am - 2 pm, planetarium show at 11:30 am. It's an opportunity to explore the Museum's exhibits and collections in a new and engaging way, while addressing science curriculum requirements.
February 18 - Buzzin' for Bees
What's the buzz on bees? Learn more about these important insects and the vital role they play in nature.
February 20 - Museum Open from 10 am - 5 pm, planetarium shows at 11, 12, and 1, Levitation Programs at 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m.
