Read, Touch & Discover encourages young children to explore their world through stories, museum touchables, crafts, singing, movement and more.

Nano North is a special place and we’ve selected some of our favorite Read, Touch & Discover stories and lessons to share with you in our temporary space.  We’ll touch live animals and celebrate the many different wonders of fall.  As always, there will be stories, songs and crafts. 

An adult is required and older siblings are welcome.   Recommended for ages 3 – 6.  Due to space limitations, registration is recommended.

Join us for a special event as NASA will launch a new era in human spaceflight as Orion soars through space on Exploration Flight Test-1. North Museum's Cosmic Mike® will be onsite and provide live coverage.  Launch is scheduled for 7:05 a.m. but the Orion capsule will splash down near the end of Read, Touch and Disocver.  The new Space Launch System will eventually send crew and cargo on deep-space missions as far as Mars.
