North Museum's What in the World

What in the World? is a STEM ( Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) career education outreach program focused on encouraging youngsters toward occupations that utilize science and math. The target audience has typically been 5th and 6th graders in schools within Lancaster County and the presenters come from a wide range of businesses in the area. Hundreds of adults have shared their enthusiasm for their job with thousands of area students over the years since the program began. The founding organization (Lancaster Lebanon Science and Technology Alliance) recently passed the baton to the North Museum as a natural successor in managing this program.

Potential What in the World? adult presenters should contact Nora at
njoyce@northmuseum.org for more information on how to get involved.
